Villainous New York, established in 2006, is a streetwear brand that creates shirts, hats, jerseys, hoodies, & other accessories. Since its inception, I have been designing, product developing, & branding on a plethora of items from multiple seasons. Keeping the New York state of mind as the baseline for all design, coupled with the specific inspiration for each design, I was able to produce the following end products.

One sample gets its inspiration from the motor oil company Valvoline. Playing off of the iconic Valvoline “V” logo, I was able to use that logo to represent the “V” in Villainous. The Hood Buys Anything posters & t shirt designs are inspired from the high fashion brand Hood By Air. The clever change in wording emulates the message that the hood, us commoners, should not just buy into any product, idea, or hype. The Selena t-shirt design is paying homage to the late, great Selena. The t-shirt design is inspired from her hit song “Amor Prohibido.” Keeping consistent with the East Coast, New York callousness, the design shows the Love (Amor) changed to Hate (Odio). Plus many more other designs.
